Fiesta Tacos
Ingredients:
- 6 Soft Flour Tortillas
For the Taco Seasoning Mix
- 2 tbsp. Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp. Cumin
- 1 tbsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Oregano
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Salt
For the Taco Filling
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 500g Beef Mince
- 2 tbsp. Tomato Paste
- ½ cup. Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Lettuce, sliced
- 1 cup Cheese, grated
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- Fresh Coriander, to garnish
Directions:
- For the Taco Seasoning Mix: In a small jar, combine all the ingredients and store until further use.
- For the Taco Filling: Heat oil over medium heat in your Chef skillet. Add the onion and garlic and fry until soft. Add the beef mince and sprinkle a tablespoon of taco seasoning over the mince. Combine well before adding the tomato paste and tomato sauce. Let it simmer for +-15 minutes.
- To Layer: Place your taco shells on the table. Layer each taco with a scoop of mince filling, fresh lettuce and grated cheese on top. Serve with a homemade salsa dip (recipe link) and sour cream.
