Easy Homemade Salsa Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 450g Tomatoes, diced
- 1 can Mexican Style Tomato
- 3 Cloves Garlic, crushed
- ½ Onion, chopped
- 1 Jalapeno, deseeded and membranes removed
- ½ tbsp. Honey
- ½ cup Cilantro
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- Juice from ½ Lime
Directions:
- In a blender/food processor, add the onion, jalapeno and garlic. Pulse until all the ingredients are chopped up.
- Add the tomatoes and the Mexican Style Tomato to the blender and continue to pulse until the tomatoes break down and release juices.
- To season, add in honey, salt, cilantro leaves and juice of ½ a lime.
- Give the salsa a final blend, taste and adjust the salt, honey or lime juice as needed until you have reached your desired consistency. Serve in your Chef Ramekin and enjoy with salsa chips!
Chef’s Tip: Start slow with the lime as it can overpower the rest of the ingredients in the salsa. Taste and add more if desired.
