Japanese Style Corn


  • 4 sweetcorn cobs
  • 60ml soy sauce
  • 60ml honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped


  1. Cook corn over coals until tender.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until honey is dissolved and cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce has reduced to a thickish treacle.
  3. Add the sweetcorn into the soy reduction and coat while keeping the heat on.
